The Orange wrap up the regular season with a weekend celebration of the Class of 2024 on Friday, Feb. 16 and Saturday, Feb. 17. Syracuse will host Mercyhurst in the last CHA season series at 6 pm on Friday and at 3 pm on Saturday at Tennity Ice Pavilion. The program will celebrate 12 members of the Class of 2024, including seven graduate students and five seniors. All fans are invited to stay for the Class of 2024 ceremony following the game on Saturday.

"This group has led in the right way and in a number of ways – on the ice, in the classroom and in the community," said head coach Britni Smith. "Their impact is already felt in our program and will continue to be present for years to come. We are fortunate and grateful to have all 12 of these women in our Syracuse ice hockey family."

The Class of 2024 includes:
- Kate Holmes, Darci Johal, Kailey Langefels, Alexandria Weiss and Rachel Teslak joined the Orange in the fall for their fifth year of hockey and to pursue graduate degrees. The group has posted 90 points in 32 games.Â
- Sixth-year forward Marielle McHale was a member of the program's first CHA Regular Season Championship in 2022 and was part of the 2019 and 2022 teams that won CHA Tournament titles and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
- Forward Haley Uliasz returned to Syracuse for a fifth year and joined the hockey program in the fall after competing with the Syracuse women's rowing team for four years. Uliasz raced in multiple boats and competed at three NCAAÂ and three ACC Championships and represented the Orange at the Henley Royal Regatta in London, England last summer.
- Kambel Beacom, Rayla Clemons, Sarah Thompson, Tatum White and Amelia Van Vliet were all members of the program's first CHA Regular Season Championship in 2022. The team won the 2022 CHA Tournament earning an invitation to the 2022 NCAA Tournament.

- Goaltender Allie Kelley ranks fourth on the CHA single-season record list 1,090 saves and her 592 saves in CHA games ranks fourth in league history.
- Forward Darci Johal joined the Syracuse 50 Point Club with a goal against RIT (2/10). Johal has 28 goals and 22 assists. Three other Orange skaters are approaching club membership, including Sarah Thompson (49 points), Alexandria Weiss (46 points) and Kate Holmes (43 points).
- Forward Sarah Thompson has eight power play goals in her career, including three this season. Last season Thompson tallied five power play goals, which ties for eighth on the Syracuse single-season record list. Thompson tallied two power play goals against Post last season (11/25/22), which ties for second on the Orange single-game record list with two other players (Holly Carrie-Mattimoe at RMU, 2011 and Julie Rising (at Princeton, 2010). The record is three (Shiann Darkangelo (vs. Mercyhurst, 2012).
- Forward Darci Johal has four power play goals this season, which is on the cusp of the Orange Top 10 list. Johal also has two shorthanded goals in 2023-24. As a team, Syracuse ranks 14th nationally with 18 power play goals and 16th in power play percentage (.194).
- Senior Sarah Thompson is one of five finalists for the 2024 Hockey Humanitarian Award, which is presented annually to college hockey's "finest citizen" and seeks to recognize college hockey players who contribute to local and/or global communities in a true humanitarian spirit. The Ottawa, Ontario native was a semifinalist in 2022-23. The 2024 Hockey Humanitarian Award will be presented in a ceremony on Friday, April 12 as part of the NCAA Men's Frozen Four weekend in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Two years ago, Thompson launched 'Sticks Together' to provide children opportunities in sport. Thompson has led two 'Sticks Together' events during the past two summers and is currently planning the third event for this summer in Tigman Village, Palawan. The events focus on providing opportunities for children in disadvantaged areas to learn and grow through the sport of ice hockey.
