Syracuse Climbs Three Spots to #17 in USA Today Coaches Poll

With a five-game win streak the Syracuse women's basketball team continues to move up in the national polls. On Tuesday, Syracuse was ranked No. 17 in the USA Today/WBCA Coaches Poll moving up three spots. Head coach Felisha Legette-Jack has led the team to its second 20-win season under her guidance and the Orange have earned their highest ranking of the season this week.

'Cuse is home for its final two home games at the JMA Wireless Dome this week after going 2-0 on the road last week defeating Miami by 11 and Virginia by six.

Syracuse is 22-4 overall with a 12-3 ACC record marking the first 12-win ACC season since 2015-16.

The Orange face Duke on Thursday for an Orange Out at 7 p.m. Fans attending are encouraged to wear orange for the game. SU then hosts Pittsburgh on Sunday at 2 p.m. for Senior Day. Both games will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra online or through the ESPN App.

After the conclusion of Sunday's game, the Orange will honor five players from the 2023-24 team. Dyaisha Fair and Alaina Rice, who have exhausted their eligibility and are playing in their final regular season home game at Syracuse will be recognized, as well as graduate students Izabel Varejão and Dominique Camp, and senior Cheyenne McEvans.
