Goaltender Allie Kelley and forward Haley Uliasz are 2024 Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) Student-Athletes of the Year. The duo are two of 18 AHA student-athletes to earn the honor by posting a 4.0 grade point average in 2023-24. Kelley and Uliasz join 17 teammates on the 2024 AHA All-Academic Team. The 19 honorees marks the fifth year in a row that the Orange have had at least that many earn AHA All-Academic Team honors. Student-athletes must achieve a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in both semesters during the 2023-24 academic year to achieve the honor.
Â
Kelley, who just played her first season at Syracuse, is pursuing a master's degree in exercise science after earning her undergraduate degree in natural sciences from St. Anselm. Uliasz, who joined the Orange after four years on the Syracuse rowing team, earned her undergraduate degree in sport management and is pursuing a project management M.P.S. from the College of Professional Studies.
