
Orange Wrap Up Road Trip at FSU Sunday

Syracuse (6-7, 0-2 ACC) travels to Florida State (12-2, 2-0 ACC) on Sunday for an Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) matchup at the Donald Tucker Civic Center in Tallahassee, Fla. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. on ACC Network with Angel Gray and Aja Ellison on the call.Â
The Orange look to bounce back following Thursday night's 85-68 road loss at #13 Georgia Tech. Georgia Woolley had her second 20-point performance of the season scoring 22 points while adding eight rebounds and three assists. Kyra Wood had 12 points and seven boards as the only other Orange to score in double figures in the loss.Â
Syracuse is in search of its first ACC win of the season after opening ACC play with back-to-back top-15 opponents in #10Â Notre Dame (L, 93-62) and Georgia Tech.Â
Florida State has won four in a row entering Sunday's matchup. The Seminoles opened ACC play with a 93-85 win over SMU on Dec. 8 and are coming off a 105-74 win at Virginia Tech on Thursday in which Ta'niya Latson set a program record with 40 points on 18-of-28 shooting from the floor. FSU is averaging 95.6 points per game and have the No. 2 scoring offense in the country while ranking 13th in scoring margin (+29.2).Â
