
Five Named Inside Lacrosse Nike All-Americans

Syracuse placed five student-athletes on the Inside Lacrosse Nike All-America Teams, tied for the second-most honorees in the country. Izzy Lahah headlines the group as a Third Team selection, joined by Honorable Mentions Daniella Guyette, Molly Guzik, Emma Muchnick and Coco Vandiver.

The Orange trail only North Carolina, which leads the nation with six across the three teams and honorable mentions and are tied with Maryland, Michigan and Northwestern with five.

Lahah was part of one of the nation's staunchest defenses, holding opponents to just 8.1 goals per game while having played one of the nation's toughest schedules. She set the Syracuse single-season caused turnover record with 57, shattering the previous record of 45 set by Katie Goodale in 2024. Lahah also nabbed a team-best 52 ground balls. She was also named to the IWLCA Northeast All-Region team earlier this week.

Backstopping the defense was Guyette, who was also named the ACC's Goalkeeper of the Year. Playing a career-high 1182:27 minutes against one of the toughest schedules in the country, she posted a 7.9 goals-against average and .464 save percentage while turning in nine games above the .500 mark.

In her first season playing attack, Guzik was the driving force on offense, scoring a squad-best 44 goals and added 10 assists. The sophomore scored a goal in 18 of the 20 games she appeared in and logged three goals or more on eight occasions. She experienced a breakout performance against Northwestern, scoring six goals in a 9-6 win and earned USA Lacrosse Division I Player of the Week honors as well as ACC Offensive Player of the Week. She was also named IWLCA Northeast All-Region First Team and All-ACC First Team.

Muchnick was at her best when the stakes were highest. The senior captain and midfielder finished with 25 goals, 18 ground balls and a career-high 11 caused turnovers. She tallied nine more goals across the ACC and NCAA Tournaments.

Vandiver, fellow senior captain and leader of the defense, closed out her Syracuse career in historic fashion, finishing as the program's all-time leader in caused turnovers with 122. She finished her final season with 48 caused turnovers, the second-most in a single-season in Syracuse program history, trailing just Lahah's 57. She and Lahah were the first pair of teammates to both surpass 40 caused turnovers in the same season and was the engine of a defense that allowed just 8.1 goals per game while generating 11.9 caused turnovers per game.
