2002-03: One of three Orangemen divers to participate in the NCAA Zone "A" Qualifying Meet, the first SU men to go since 1995-96...was 20th on the one-meter board with a score of 197.10 points...finished 22nd on the three-meter with a score of 300.90 points...captured a first-place finish on the three-meter board against Colgate (268.57 points)...was first on the three-meter against Seton Hall with 321.98 points.
2001-02: Finished 18th at the BIG EAST Championship on the one-meter board with a score of 158.95 points...captured first place on the one-meter board in a dual-meet against West Virginia with a score of 275.25...was second on both boards against Seton Hall...his top score of the season on the three-meter was 253.65, which he recorded against West Virginia for a second-place finish.
High School: Began swimming and diving in seventh grade...coached by Woodrow Davis, the former club coach of SU head swim coach Lou Walker...also competed on the varsity baseball and cross-country teams...as a senior, his top score on the one-meter board (11 dives) was 417...his top score on the one-meter (six dives) was 247...captured second place at the championship meet...took first place at the 1996 championship meet...earned all-league recognition in baseball.
Personal: Born July 4, 1982...son of Marianne Davila and Cesar Rodriguez...has one brother and two sisters...majoring in geology and political science.
