Alexander Earns BIG EAST Honor

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Junior Kayla Alexander has been named to the BIG EAST Women's Basketball Honor Roll for her performance in Syracuse's first three games of the season. She has helped the Orange to a 3-0 start for the third consecutive season.
Alexander is Syracuse's leading scorer (18.7 ppg.) and rebounder (10.7 rpg.) this season. She scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds in SU's season-opening victory against Long Beach State before leading the Orange with 22 points to go along with six rebounds against St. Francis (Pa.). Alexander posted her seventh career double-double with 20 points and a season-high 17 rebounds against Lafayette.
Syracuse is back in action on Tuesday, Nov. 22 when it hosts Buffalo at 7 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. Tickets are available online, by phone (1-888-DOMETIX) or at Gate B in the Carrier Dome.
