Women's Basketball Ticket Info | 2012-13 Schedule
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - One of the best entertainment values in Central New York, Syracuse women's basketball season tickets are now on sale.
The Orange will host 14 home games at the Carrier Dome in 2012-13, starting on Nov. 11 with the season-opener vs. Fairleigh Dickinson and concluding with the regular season and BIG EAST finale vs. Louisville on March 4.
Syracuse women's basketball season tickets remain one of the best values for fans. First-level season tickets can be purchased for $90, and just $75 for current men's basketball patrons. That's an average price of just $6.43 per game, or $5.36 per game for men's basketball season ticket holders! Youth (12 and under) and senior (60 and over) season tickets are only $45.
Single game tickets are $10, or just $5 for groups of 20 or more. Group tickets go on sale Sept. 24 and individual game tickets are available on Oct. 10. Parking for women's games is free in the Stadium West areas.
For further details, visit the Carrier Dome website or call the box office at 1-888-DOMETIX.
Highlighting the schedule are four Saturday doubleheader dates with the men's team at the Carrier Dome. On Dec. 8, the women face Loyola while the men take on Monmouth. On Dec. 15, the women play Binghamton while the men host Canisius in the Gotham Classic opener. Jan. 12 is the first of two BIG EAST doubleheaders as the women take on Georgetown and the men face Villanova. March 2 consists of the women vs. Villanova and the men vs. Louisville.
The Orange will host four games against NCAA Tournament teams from a season ago in Georgetown (1/12), DePaul (1/15), Rutgers (2/19) and Louisville (2/4). In its final season in the BIG EAST, Syracuse will also host Seton Hall (1/30), Providence (2/2), Pittsburgh (2/16) and Villanova (3/2).
Key non-conference home dates include Washington State (12/21) out of the Pac-12 and Boise State (12/30) out of the Mountain West.
Head Coach Quentin Hillsman's Orange look to be an exciting team in 2012-13 as it returns four starters from a season ago, including two-time All-BIG EAST center Kayla Alexander, in addition to guards Elashier Hall, Rachel Coffey and Carmen Tyson-Thomas.
Combined with an experienced core of veterans that led the Orange to the WNIT semifinals last season, Hillsman welcomes a talented freshmen class of five that was the sixth-ranked recruiting class in the country, including McDonald's All-Americans Brianna Butler and Brittney Sykes.
