XC Back in Action at Wisconsin adidas Invite, Princeton Invite

SYRACUSE, N.Y.—After two weeks of training the Orange are back in action this weekend, heading to two different races. Members of the men's and women's teams will race at both the Wisconsin adidas Invitational and the Princeton Invitational on Saturday.
The Wisconsin adidas Invitational is the race of the weekend, and possibly the season, as it boasts 38 nationally ranked teams between the men's and women's race. In the past four years two of the individual winners have gone on to become the NCAA Champion and in 2011 the Wisconsin team, which won the invite, went on to win the national title.
Syracuse will also send runners to the Princeton Invitational this weekend, the first time the team has gone to the New Jersey race.
The last time out the men's team ran to a second place finish at the Boston College Invitational, finishing behind then-12th ranked Oregon. The women's team took a seventh place finish at the Roy Griak Invitational, finishing one point ahead of ACC foe North Carolina State.
