Syracuse ranked No. 21/22 in latest poll releases
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University women's basketball team moved up one position in the most recent releases of the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches Polls. Syracuse ranks No. 21 in the nation in the AP Poll and No. 22 nationally in the coaches' rankings.

After defeating in-state foe Cornell on Dec. 28, Syracuse improved its national ranking by one spot in each major national poll. The Orange have been ranked in the top 25 of each poll release during the 2014-15 season, a program-first.

A big week looms for the Syracuse women's basketball team. The club hosts Central Connecticut State on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in its final non-conference game of the 2014-15 regular season. Syracuse opens Atlantic Coast Conference play on Sunday afternoon with a bout against No. 4/4 Notre Dame. Tipoff is slated for 1 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.
