Women's Hoops Visits Local Schools

The Orange visited two local schools on Tuesday and Thursday
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The 2015-16 season may have come to an end for the Syracuse University women's basketball team, but the club has certainly stayed active. In two of the past three days, Syracuse has visited local schools to read to students and engage with youth.
On Tuesday morning, the Orange kicked things off by visiting nearby Jamesville Elementary School. Members of the team read to students of all ages and answered questions from the children for two hours.
Syracuse traveled to Grant Middle School on Thursday morning, as well. There, members of the squad answered questions in a panel discussion. The Orange student-athletes talked about their individual paths to success and how to overcome adversity.
