ORANGE IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT
Syracuse is making its fifth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament and ninth in the past 10 years. The Orange have an all-time record of 15-13 in NCAA Tournament play and have won their last eight tournament openers. Syracuse has advanced to the national semifinals in each of the last four years.

TREANOR MAKING HER MARK
Senior Kayla Treanor is nearing two more milestones in her storied career. She needs just 10 points to become Syracuse's all-time scoring leader. In addition, Treanor is 13 away from the 400-point plateau. She would become just the second NCAA Division I women's player to accomplish the feat.

SCOUTING THE SEA WOLVES
Stony Brook defeated Boston College, 11-9, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday to improve its record to 17-3. The win extended the America East champion's win streak to 15. The Sea Wolves are ranked No. 7 in the IWLCA poll and No. 6 in the media poll.
Â
Junior Courtney Murphy tallied four goals against Boston College and broke the NCAA Division I single-season record for goals. She now has 99 this season. She leads a powerful offense that averages nearly 14 goals per game. On the other end of the field, goalkeeper Anna Tesoriero has a 6.01 goals-against average and a .507 save percentage.

SERIES HISTORY
Sunday's game marks the second all-time meeting between the two schools. The first contest was also an NCAA Tournament second-round game at the SU Soccer Stadium in 2014. The Orange scored the first four goals on its way to a 10-2 halftime lead. Syracuse built its lead to as many as 10 in the second half and recorded the 13-6 victory.
