SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University women's basketball team (7-2) remains ranked in the USA Today Coaches Poll this week as the No. 14 team in the country and highest-ranked multi-loss team. Coming off the heels of a 1-1 week, the Orange dropped just two spots from No. 12 after a 72-68 loss at then-unranked Minnesota in the ACC/B1G Challenge.
Syracuse bounced back to improve to 3-0 in the Carrier Dome with a 98-55 win over Towson on Sunday afternoon. The Orange shot 44.6 percent from the field in the victory and had five players score in double figures.
'Cuse checked in at No. 15 in this week's Associated Press (AP) Top 25 after dropping three spots from last week's No. 12 ranking.
The Orange will play their second home game of a three-game stretch on Wednesday, Dec. 5, when they host Maryland Eastern Shore (2-5) in the Carrier Dome. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.
