Orange Alumna Erica Morrow Named Luxembourg League Player of the Year

Luxembourg – After leading her team to its fourth-straight Luxembourg League title with a 73-71 win over T71 Dudelange and earning Finals MVP honors, former Syracuse women's basketball standout Erica Morrow has been named Player of the Year. In addition to earning Player of the Year recognition, Morrow was named Guard of the Year, Import Player of the Year and All-Luxembourg League First Team.
In 25 games, she averaged 18.1 points and 7.7 assists per game. She logged 11 20-point games and played 40+ minutes on 13 occasions. She had a team-best 10 double-doubles and recorded a triple-double on Dec. 16, 2017 with 23 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists against Grengewald.
She had a season-high 16 assists on two occasions and tallied double-digit assists in nine games.
Amicale posted a 23-2 record en route to the league championship. Morrow averaged 36.8 minutes and shot 60 percent from the field.
Morrow was a four-year letter winner for the Orange from 2008-2011. She was selected for the 2008 BIG EAST All-Freshman Team and was twice named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team.
