Orange Meet Bucknell Sunday at 1 PM

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse University's 12^th-ranked field hockey team (3-3, 0-2 ACC) is set to host Bucknell (3-2) at 1 p.m. on Sunday for the second game of 'Stick it to Cancer' weekend. Orange fans are encouraged to wear gold to support the fight against pediatric cancer.

Syracuse enters Sunday on a three-game losing streak. After a heartbreaking 2-1 double overtime loss to No. 8 Virginia on the road, the Orange returned home to face No. 1 UConn and No. 4 Duke, losing to the Huskies 3-0 and 1-0 to the Blue Devils.

Borg van der Velde is coming off an 11-save performance, the best of the sophomore goalkeepers career. She faced 21 Duke shots on Friday while the Blue Devils held the Orange to zero shots or penalty corners.

Bucknell rides a three-game win streak into Sunday but first go toe-to-toe with Colgate on Saturday afternoon. The Bison have held opponents to 1.60 goals per game and average 13.4 shots per game. Lexi Quick paces Bucknell in goals (3), assists (4) and points (10) this season.

Fans can catch the action live from J.S. Coyne Stadium on ACC Network Extra beginning at 1 p.m.
