Orange Remain Top 15 in Both Polls

Syracuse, N.Y. – After a 1-1 week the Syracuse Orange women's basketball team remained top-15 in both the Associated Press (AP) and USA Today Coaches Polls. Syracuse slipped one spot to No. 13 in the AP Poll while moving down two spots to No. 14 in the Coaches Poll.
The Orange had a dominating 82-50 win at Pittsburgh on Thursday but suffered a 10-point defeat, Syracuse's largest margin of loss this season, on the road at Georgia Tech Sunday. The Yellow Jackets held Syracuse to a season-low 55 points and 19 percent from three-point range.
Syracuse was one of 13 teams ranked in the AP Poll to lose last week and were joined by Texas as the only two teams to drop one spot following a loss.
'Cuse hosts Miami (16-4, 4-1 ACC) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. The Hurricanes are the first nationally ranked opponent to enter the Carrier Dome this season. Last time Syracuse hosted a top 25 team the Orange defeated No. 17/16 Duke, 68-65, on Feb. 15, 2018.
