Syracuse (10-11, 4-6 ACC) visits Conte Forum to take on Atlantic Coast Conference foe Boston College (12-9, 5-5) in Chestnut Hill Thursday night at 7 p.m. on ACC Network Extra. 'Cuse looks to move back to .500 on the season and end its two game road losing streak.

The Orange struggled on offense their last time out, losing to Virginia in Charlottesville, 57-41. Emily Engstler and Digna Strautmane led the team in scoring and both finished with 10 points. Engstler added 11 rebounds for her eighth double double of the season, which ranks third in the ACC. The sophomore has scored in double figures in six of the last nine games. Engstler has been getting it done on both ends of the floor, as her 39 blocks rank third in the conference and 44th in the nation. The New York City native swatted two shots last Thursday against Virginia Tech for her 14th multi-block game.

Coach Hillsman's defense has caused opponents problems of late. In 'Cuse's last three games, the defense has forced 14-plus turnovers. Virginia had 24 turnovers, two shy of a season-high for all of Syracuse's opponents. The Orange are fifth in the ACC in turnover margin. The Orange lead the conference in blocked shots with 129 denials.

The Eagles come into Thursday's matchup on a two game winning streak after beating Wake Forest on Sunday, 67-54. Emma Guy led the team in scoring with 20 points, her second-straight 20 point performance. The senior is second in the ACC in field goal percentage this season, shooting 58 percent. She was named ACC Co-Player of the Week on Monday.

Syracuse leads the overall series with Boston College, 31-23.Coach Hillsman is undefeated against the Eagles, carrying an 11-0 record. 'Cuse has not lost to Boston College since 2005.

The Orange return home to host No. 5 Louisville at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9. Various Orange women's sports will be celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day in the backcourt before tip-off. Tickets start at $10 for adults and $5 for youth 12 and under and senior citizens. Parking is free in all Stadium West lots.
