DURHAM, N.C. – Coming off back-to-back victories against top five teams, Syracuse is set to battle No. 10 Duke on the road this Saturday. It marks the ACC opener for the Orange.Â

Opening draw is scheduled for 1 p.m. in Koskinen Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. Live updates will also be available on Twitter (@CuseWLax.)

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse (2-0) dominated Stony Brook last Saturday, recording a 16-6 victory. The Orange have defeated two top five opponents by a combined 22 goals. Megan Carney led the Orange with five goals, while Sam Swart and Sierra Cockerille had four a piece. Asa Goldstock had another impressive performance, notching 11 saves on 19 shots.

The 'Cuse continued its defensive dominance by only allowing six goals for the second straight game. Syracuse is third in the ACC in goals against per game. Â

SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS
Duke comes into the game with a 4-1 record, including a 1-1 mark in ACC play. The Blue Devils' lone loss came to No. 1 North Carolina. Duke is tied for the most overall goals in the NCAA with 74 this season.

Graduate student Gabby Rosenzweig, who transferred this season from Penn, leads the team with 16 points on the season, splitting goals and assists with eight a piece. Their goals leader is also a graduate student, Catherine Cordrey, who has 11 goals through five games.

SERIES HISTORY
Syracuse leads the all-time series against Duke, 5-2. In 2019, Syracuse travelled to Durham and defeated Duke, 15-14. Emily Hawryschuk led the Orange with four goals in the win.
