
Syracuse's Lewis Earns Academic All-District Honors

Syracuse graduate student Dariauna Lewis has been named to the Academic All-District Team, announced by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday afternoon. Lewis is a two-time Academic All-American during her undergraduate years at Alabama A&M. She has a 3.89 grade point average and is working towards a certificate in Global Health at Syracuse University.Â
Lewis leads the team with 9.1 rebounds per game and is second in the ACC in rebounding this season. Her 11 double doubles rank 34th in the country and she is 41st in total rebounds and 48th in rebounds per game.Â
The CSC Academic All-District team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid March. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
