The Orange are one of three undefeated Division I teams as they enter Tuesday's game with an 11-0 record. Syracuse could tie its longest winning streak in program history with a win against the Big Red.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse will play its third game in seven days when it takes the field on Tuesday. The Orange defeated No. 6 Stony Brook last Wednesday at home before recording a road victory at Louisville last Saturday.

Meaghan Tyrrell is the active Division I leader in points (366) and assists (138). She had seven points and five assists at Louisville, helping her move up to third place on Syracuse's all-time points list and second place in career assists.

Syracuse continues to lead the nation in assists (9.8 apg.) and shooting percentage (.531). The Orange also rank third in points per game (26.10) and fifth in scoring offense (16.30). Â On the defensive side, Syracuse is 10th in scoring defense (8.50) and ninth in save percentage (.509). Â

Cornell enters Tuesday's game with a 6-3 record. The Big Red is coming off a 15-11 loss at No. 17 Princeton.

Katie Castiello and Amanda Cramer led the Cornell offense with 33 points each. Castiello has scored a team-high 27 goals, while Cramer leads the squad with 11 assists. Ellie Horner has started all nine games in goal for the Big Red. She has an 11.58 goals-against average and a .423 save percentage.

Wednesday's game marks the 25th meeting between Syracuse and Cornell. The Orange lead the all-time series, 19-5 and have won all 11 contests played in Syracuse.

Last season's meeting took place in Ithaca. A close first half ended in a 6-6 tie. Emily Hawryschuk had a hat trick to lead the Orange. Olivia Adamson opened the scoring in the second half, sparking a 6-0 'Cuse scoring run. Meaghan Tyrrell had two goals and two assists during the offensive outburst.Â

The Big Red scored the final two goals of the third quarter to cut the lead to four, 12-8, but the Orange scored the next eight goals on their way to a 20-9 victory.
