SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The top seed in next week's ACC Women's Lacrosse Tournament is on the line when No. 1 Syracuse hosts No. 5 Boston College on Thursday, April 20. Opening draw is set for 7 p.m. at the soldout SU Soccer Stadium.

The game will be broadcast on ACC Network and on WJPZ 89.1 FM in Syracuse.

The game is sold out. Fans should download their tickets to their mobile wallet before 4 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. When they arrive at the SU Soccer Stadium, fans should go to the ticket tent located outside the Ensley Athletic Center to get a hard ticket. Fans then should proceed to the SU Soccer Stadium entry gate.

Syracuse enters the game with a 15-0 record, including an 8-0 mark in league play. The Eagles are 12-3 overall and 7-1 against ACC opponents.

The Orange enter Thursday's game on a 15-game winning streak, which matches the longest in program history. The 2012 squad also won 15 straight games. It marks the sixth double-digit win streak since the program began in 1998.

Syracuse is going for its first outright ACC regular-season title since joining the league in 2013-14. The Orange claimed a share of the regular-season title in 2014.

Meaghan Tyrrell is on the cusp of breaking the school record for career points. She enters Thursday's game with 394 points, which is two behind all-time leader Katie Rowan '09. Tyrrell is the active Division I leader in both points and assists (149).

Goalkeeper Delaney Sweitzer leads the nation in save percentage (.549) in the latest NCAA Division I statistics. She also ranks sixth in goals-against average (8.24) and second in ground balls per game (3.73). Sweitzer is this week's IWLCA and ACC Defensive Player of the Week.

Jenn Medjid, this week's ACC Offensive Player of the Week, leads the Eagles' offense with 79 points on 61 goals and 18 assists. McKenna Davis has 65 points and a team-leading 48 assists.

Thursday's game marks the 27th all-time meeting between Syracuse and Boston College. The Orange have won 17 of the previous 26 meetings between the squads.

Syracuse closed out the 2022 regular season at Chestnut Hill. The teams were tied, 4-4, after the first quarter, and Belle Smith's goal with three seconds on the clock gave the Eagles a 7-6 halftime advantage.

Boston College used a 4-1 scoring run in the third quarter to build a 12-8 lead heading into the final 15 minutes of play. Smith scored the first goal of the fourth quarter before Meaghan Tyrrell sparked an Orange comeback attempt. She scored two goals and had an assist in a 4-0 'Cuse scoring run that cut the deficit to one, 13-12, with 9:59 to play. That was as close as Syracuse would get as Boston College recorded a 15-13 victory. Tyrrell and Emily Hawryschuk each finished with four goals to lead the Orange.
