The Syracuse cross country teams will race at the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational on Friday, their second race of the season.
MEET INFORMATION:
Location: State College, Pa. | PSU Cross Country Course

Start times: Women: 10 a.m. | Men 10:45 a.m.
PARTICIPATING TEAMS:
Buffalo, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Temple, West Virginia and Youngstown State have teams entered at the meet.
ORANGE ENTRIES:
The 'Cuse women are first in action at 10 a.m. The Orange will have its participants come from an entered field of: Baneet Baines, Emma Eastman, Beatriz Fernandes, Tess Fitzmaurice, Leah Futey, Madeline Heintz, Sophia Jacobs-Townsley, Olivia Joly, Caroline Kirby, Rylie Lusk, Madeline Lutz, Taylor Mascetta, Madison Neuner, Siobhan O'Keefe, Savannah Roark, Olivia Shattuck, Bethany Steiner, Emily Toth-Ratazzi and Lucy Zombek.
The men will run 45 minutes later, and pull its field from: Noah Beveridge, Eamon Burke, Alex Comerford, Silas Derfel, Joey Eovaldi, Julian Franjieh, Assaf Harari, Joey Hendershot, Alex Herbst, Nathan Lawler, Sam Lawler, Perry Mackinnon, Patrick Malone, Kamari Miller, Paul O'Donnell, Gabriel Planty, Ruben Rojas Betanzos, Matthew Scrape and Ethan Wechsler.
LAST TIME OUT:
The Orange men won the Harry Lang Invitational at Colgate, behind an individual win from Matthew Scrape. The 'Cuse women were runner-up at the event, led by Madeline Heintz, who was the fifth place finisher overall.
ABOUT SU:
The 'Cuse men start the year ranked No. 11 in the USTFCCCA Preseason Poll and are the Northeast Region favorites. The Orange women are also ranked 30th. The ACC has six teams represented in each poll, making it one of the most difficult and competitive conferences in the nation.
