Women’s Basketball Welcomes Delaware State to the Carrier Dome

SYRACUSE – Syracuse is scheduled to welcome Delaware State to the Carrier Dome on Tuesday, December 22.
The Orange and the Lady Hornets recently met for the first time in 2008 when the Orange won 56-37 in the Carrier Dome. Junior guard Erica Morrow led the Orange with 15 points while the defense held the Lady Hornet to 25 percent shooting from the floor.
Delaware State finished 15-15 overall and an 11-5 mark in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference last season. Head coach Ed Davis is entering his 10th season as head coach of the Lady Hornets. Davis announced four additions to the Lady Hornets to replace starting guards Keyhana Wakefield and Jameka Smith, along with center Thea Littlepage.
