
SU Tries to Extend Winning Streak Sunday

South Bend, Ind. -- Seventh-ranked Syracuse goes for its fourth consecutive win when it takes on No. 15 Notre Dame on Sunday at 1 p.m. in South Bend, Ind. With an 11-2 win at Connecticut on Friday, the Orange extended its winning streak to three, which is a season high, and improved its record to 7-3 overall, 2-0 in BIG EAST play. The Fighting Irish enter the contest with a 7-4 mark, including a 3-1 record in conference action.

THE SERIES
Syracuse and Notre Dame will meet for the 14th time in women's lacrosse this weekend. The Orange holds a 9-4 lead in the all-time series.
LADOUCEUR DIRECTS OFFENSE
Junior Tee Ladouceur has sparked the Syracuse offense all season. Against Connecticut, she had two goals and two assists for a game-high four points. Ladouceur leads the Orange in scoring with 54 points, and her 28 assists is the fifth-highest single-season total in school history.
DEFENSE SHINES
Syracuse's defense was a major factor in the Orange's victory at Connecticut. Syracuse caused 17 turnovers and allowed just one goal in each half in its 11-2 win. The two goals is the fewest the Orange has allowed since defeating California, 18-2, last season. Syracuse has now allowed two or less goals in a half five times this season.
