Alexander’s Play Gets International Praise

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Coming off her 24-point, 16-rebound performance at No. 2 Notre Dame on Tuesday, Syracuse senior center Kayla Alexander was featured on FIBA.com on Wednesday as a player that could help an up-and-coming Canadian National Team program in the coming years.
Leading the Orange and ranking in the top five in the BIG EAST in points (17.2), rebounds (8.6) and blocks (3.3), Alexander has led No. 22/20 Syracuse to its best record in program history through 27 games (22-5) and a current third-place tie in the conference standings at 10-4. She became SU's all-time leading scorer on Jan. 26 and currently stands at 1,915 career points.
A member of Canada's youth teams throughout her career, Alexander attending the national team camp last summer.
