SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse field hockey head coach Ange Bradley has been announcing the program's 2014 signing class over the last several weeks. Be sure to check Cuse.com as the Orange continues to unveil its incoming class one-by-one.
"I am very excited to welcome the Class of 2018 to our Syracuse Field Hockey Family," Bradley said. "This class has decided to join a university which offers excellence both in the classroom and on the field. This is a powerful recruiting class that will offer speed to our line-up, skill and a high level of hockey knowledge. This class represents five states and two countries; they are diverse and ready to help us pursue an ACC and NCAA championship. I cannot wait to help them develop and leave a legacy for future Syracuse Field Hockey student-athletes. There are many firsts that this class can achieve as a unit. On behalf of the Syracuse Athletic Department and our extended community please welcome the class of 2018 to our Syracuse family."

In today's edition, Bradley is happy to announce the signing of back Annalena Ulbrich from Hannover, Germany.
"I chose Syracuse because the hockey team plays on a high level and the University has an excellent academic reputation," Ulbrich said.
A skilled decision-maker and distributor out of the backfield, Bradley believes Ulbrich can make an immediate impact for the Orange in 2014.
"We are very excited to have Annalena join our Syracuse family," Bradley said. "She is a very smart defender, a field general and will offer power distribution and aerial play to our backfield. Annalena is a great competitor and is a penalty corner specialist. We expect her to compete for a starting job in the backfield this year."
Ulbrich won gold medals at the German National Outdoor Championship in 2010 and 2012, and is coming off a bronze medal win this year. She has also won bronze medals at the German National Field Championship in 2011 and 2012.
Ulbrich played for the club team DHC Hannover for head coach Mike Wiebe.
