Peterson tallied two points in Seattle's latest win
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Center Kayla Alexander '13 and guards Alexis Peterson and Brittney Sykes, the top three scorers in the history of the Syracuse women's basketball program, are all in action as the 2017 WNBA season is underway.
Here is the latest update of how the three former Orange are faring:
Kayla Alexander, San Antonio Stars
- Currently averaging 6.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 0.7 assists, 0.4 steals, and 0.4 blocks per game in 11 contests played
- Recorded four points, five rebounds, one assist, and a steal at Seattle on June 18
- Secured one board and a helper at Los Angeles on June 15
Alexis Peterson, Seattle Storm
- Tallying 1.8 points, 0.2 rebounds, and 0.5 assists per contest in six games played
- Registered two points in three minutes of action in a victory against San Antonio on June 18
Brittney Sykes, Atlanta Dream
- Averaging 5.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.2 steals, and 0.2 blocked shots per game in 10 contests played
- Ranks fourth among rookies in scoring
- Posted four points, two rebounds, and three assists at Indiana on June 15
