As the Syracuse Orange prepare to host #23/24 Virginia Tech in the Carrier Dome on Thursday, Feb. 17 (7 p.m., ACCNX), we continue our Q&A series to help you get to know your Orange! In this edition we talk with senior Chrislyn Carr.
1. What is your favorite WNBA team?
My favorite WNBA team is the Chicago Sky.
2. What is something that surprised you about Syracuse?
Something that surprised me about Syracuse has to be how beautiful the campus is and the weather. The cold is definitely a little viscous here.
3. What is the best concert that you've been to?
I've never been to a concert but if I had to pick I'd want to see Beyoncé.
4. Who is your favorite Disney character?
My favorite Disney character is Stitch!!
5. What emoji describes you best?
The emoji that describes me best is the teddy bear emoji 🧸 because I am just really chill and laid back.
6. How has basketball impacted your life?
Basketball has impacted my life in many ways! It has created a lot of opportunities for me and has connected me with some really good people. I have made some really good friends because of basketball. It is a big part of the person I am today.
7. If you weren't playing basketball, what other sport do you think you'd be good at?
If I wasn't playing basketball I think I'd be really good at track or softball!
8. Is there a certain goal you want to accomplish before leaving Syracuse?
A certain goal I want to accomplish is getting all A's and finishing with a 4.0.
9. What is your favorite food?
My favorite food to eat is pizza.
10. What do you love most about this team?
What I love most about this team is our ability to overcome adversity and keep fighting.
