ORANGE UPDATE
The Orange improved to 6-3 overall with a 20-11 victory against UAlbany on Tuesday. It marked the second-straight game that Syracuse scored 20 goals. Emma Tyrrell, Olivia Adamson and Emma Ward had four goals each to lead the 'Cuse offense.

Syracuse sits atop the ACC standings with a 4-0 record. Last weekend, the Orange defeated then No. 9 North Carolina, 20-5. It was the second top-10 win of the year for Syracuse.

SCOUTING THE CAVALIERS
Virginia enters Saturday's game with a 9-1 record, including a 3-1 mark in ACC action. The Cavaliers are coming off a 12-8 victory against No. 6 James Madison to extend their winning streak to six games.

The Virginia offense ranks seventh in the nation in points per game (24.5) and 19th in goals per game (14.80). Morgan Schwab leads the nation in assists (40) and ranks second in total points (55).

Defensively, goalkeeper Mel Josephson ranks 11th in the nation in saves (87) and 15th in save percentage (.497).
