2001-02: Qualified for the BIG EAST Championship with a time of 59.72 in the 100 butterfly at the Rutgers Invitational...swam the race in a time of 1:00.01 at the BIG EAST prelims...won three events in a dual-meet against Seton Hall (200 backstroke, 400 medley relay, 400 freestyle relay)...posted her fastest time of the season in the 200 backstroke against the Pirates (2:08.31)...her best time of the season in the 100 backstroke was 59.38 at the BIG EAST prelims...swam the 50 freestyle in a time of 26.20 against Connecticut...was first in the 100 backstroke against Colgate...named to the BIG EAST Academic All-Star team...earned a spot on the Fall 2001 and Spring 2002 Athletic Director's Honor Rolls.
High School: Swam for three years at Caesar Rodney High School for Coach Rich Szvitich...specialized in the 100 backstroke, the 100 butterfly and the 200 IM...placed second in the 400 freestyle relay her junior and senior years at the state championships...posted senior-year times of 1:00.85 in the 100 backstroke and 1:01.36 in the 100 butterfly...her career-best times were 59.54 in the 100 back and 1:01.02 in the 100 butterfly...finished first in the 100 and 200 backstroke events at YMCA regionals...set YMCA team records in the 100 and 200 backstroke, the 100 butterfly and the 200 and 400 IM...served as team captain her senior year...named first-team all-conference her senior year...earned second-team all-state honors her sophomore and senior seasons...honorable mention all-state as a junior...won the Bob Wheeler Award for sportsmanship from the YMCA her sophomore year...named MVP of her high school and club teams...member of the National Honor Society...also played volleyball...member of the Latin Club.
