SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 19/25 Syracuse University women's basketball hosts No. 24/24 Arizona State on Stars and Stripes Day in the Carrier Dome on Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is slated for 1:00 p.m. Fans are encouraged to bring toys for donations for the holidays, as well.

Tickets can be purchased online, by phone at 1-888-DOMETIX, or by visiting the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B) during normal business hours.

Syracuse is coming off an 88-56 victory against Coppin State on Dec. 9. The Orange bench erupted for a season-best 50 points on the night. Senior forward Taylor Ford led the way with a personal-high 21 points against the Eagles.

In its last contest, Arizona State defeated Columbia, 70-49, in its final game of the Arizona State Classic on Dec. 6. The Sun Devils enter Saturday's contest with a 4-3 overall record. Arizona State will be the third nationally-ranked foe that Syracuse has met thus far in 2015-16.

Owning the Turnover Battle
The Orange boasts one of the top turnover margins in the country in 2015-16. Syracuse currently ranks first in the Atlantic Coast Conference and seventh nationally in turnover margin, owning a 8.88 advantage in the turnover department against its opposition.

Per usual under head coach Quentin Hillsman, the team has been disruptive on the defensive end. Syracuse currently averages 23.13 turnovers forced per contest, which ranks first in the conference and ninth nationally.

On the flip side, the Orange has done a tremendous job holding onto the ball on the offensive end. Opponents have only been able to muster 14.3 turnovers per game against Syracuse, which ranks second in the ACC and 54th in the country.

No. 19/25 Syracuse erupted for 51 points in the second half en route to an 88-56 victory against Coppin State on Dec. 9 in the Carrier Dome. Syracuse shot 19-of-31 from the field (61.3 percent) in the final 20 minutes of play.

The Orange was able to utilize its depth to overpower the Eagles on Wednesday evening in the friendly confines of the Carrier Dome. Syracuse's bench outscored its starting lineup, tallying 50 points on the night. It marked the most points scored by an SU bench since Nov. 20, 2013.
