2001-02: Won nine races over the course of the season...recorded two top-10 finishes at the Nike Cup with a season-best time of 17:20.73 in the 1,650-yard freestyle...took first place in all but two 500-yard freestyle races in dual-meet action...her top time in the 500 freestyle was 5:04.81 against Massachusetts...was ninth with SU's 800-yard freestyle relay at the Nike Cup.
High School: Competed with the Lancaster Aquatic Club for one year...was a member of the Hempfield High School varsity swim team her senior year...runner-up for All-American honors in the 500 freestyle...placed ninth overall at the Pennsylvania State High School Championships...her best times were in the 500 freestyle (5:01.38), the 200 freestyle (1:54.00), the 1,000 freestyle (10:19.17) and the 1,650 freestyle (17:11.07).
Personal: Born Dec. 30, 1982...the daughter of Terry and Diana Danowski...has one sister...majoring in selected studies.
