Returns as SU's most experienced breaststroker.
Junior Year: Swam with the Syracuse "C" relay team at the Nike Cup...had one of his strongest performances of the year versus Connecticut with a fourth-place finish in the 200 IM (2:03.86) and a fifth-place finish in the 200 breaststroke (2:19.13)...named to SU's Athletic Director's Honor Roll during both the fall and spring semesters...BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
Sophomore Year: Hit his best time in the 200 IM (1:59.08) at the BIG EAST Championship to finish 36th out of 52 swimmers...member of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll both fall and spring semesters...a BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
Freshman Year: Swam for the University of California at Berkeley.
High School: Injured his shoulder in the fall of 1997 but came back that spring to qualify and compete at the Junior National Championships...swam for Coach Scott Mendelsohn at Las Lomas High School?qualified three consecutive seasons as an All-American in the 400 free relay?named to 1997 U.S. Swimming Scholastic All-American team?swam for 1995 sectional and league champions in high school?won league title in the 200 free?also played varsity water polo, earning MVP honors in 1996?inducted into the California Scholarship Foundation's honor society.
Personal: Born May 4, 1980?the son of Richard Bizewski and Barbara Gray?his aunt was a diver for Stanford University in the 1970s?majoring in information management and technology.
