Sophomore Year: Swam the team's fourth-fastest time in the 100 freestyle (48.12) at the BIG EAST prelims...BIG EAST Academic All-Star...named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll both semesters.
Freshman Year: Had the team's fifth-fastest time in the 100 backstroke (57.10) which he recorded at the BIG EAST prelims...BIG EAST Academic All-Star...named to Athletic Director's Honor Roll in the spring.
High School: Swam for coaches Al Friteninger and Mike Dafler at Williamsville East High School...also competed in track and soccer...set school records in the 100 backstroke (55.70), 200 IM (1:59.10), 200 and 500 freestyles (4:57), 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay...served as team captain...team MVP his senior year...was president of the National Honor Society chapter and member of the steering committee.
Personal: Born Sept. 22, 1980...son of Gaving and Barbara Miller...has two sisters...majoring in health and exercise science.
